Monthly Meetings

The chapter usually meets the third Thursday of the month at noon, alternating meetings between Columbia and Jefferson City. At our meetings, local and regional speakers share their expertise and experience in a wide variety of public relations areas. Lunch costs $15 for members and $20 for nonmembers.

Come find out what Susan Bartel learned at a national conference on new and social media. She will share information and ideas from the experts and how to make sense out of the chaos and blur of this communication revolution.

Susan Bartel, APR, is an assistant professor of business and marketing and the MBA program director at Stephens College. She has served as chapter president, PRSA national committee member, assembly delegate, accreditation chair and currently is the faculty advisor for the PRSSA chapter at Stephens.

Cost: PRSA members - $10; Non-PRSA members - $15

Where: The Copper Kettle, 508 E. Liberty Lane, Ashland, MO

Driving directions: Take Highway 63 to Ashland and turn west on East Liberty Lane. The Copper Kettle is one block up on your right.
